Youth Timed Championships YTC Dates November 19th 2011 December 17th 2011 February 11th 2012 February 23th 2012 Rain date for January March 17th 2012 March 31st 2012 April 21st 2012 May 26th 2012 Finals June 2nd 2012 Open Exhibitions Barrel and Poles 10:30 am $3.00 a run or 4 for $10.00. Events starts a 2pm gates open at 9am . Classes are as follow; 6 and Under (lead line)(8 & under) (9-12) (13-16) (17-19) The events will be; Mini bulls, barrels, poles, flags, goat tying, steer dobbin, chute dogging,for the 6 and under there is stick horse race and mutton busting and ribbon goat. Come join the Fun !! Our events are OPEN to the Public. So load that pony and some friends and come see us at the GRC Arena!! Don't miss out on the GRC playday and events for 2012!!! | 2012 Gainesville Riding Club Play Day Series Classes will be $5 each, or $4 for GRC Members. Play Days are open to all. You do not need to be a member to participate and receive prizes. ... GRC Family Discount – $50 flat fee. (Does not include exhibitions) Must have at least 3 members participating to receive the family discount. To become members of the Gainesville Riding Club you must come to a meeting and apply for membership. You cannot join at the Play Days. Meetings are held the third Monday of each month at the GRC clubhouse, at 7pm. Barrel and Pole exhibitions are $4 each or 3 for $10. They will be run before each Play Day, and after if requested. Prizes will be awarded for the first 6 places in each age category. All others will receive a certificate of participation. 2012 Dress Code: All participants must wear jeans and boots. The only exception will be Leadline who may substitute closed toe shoes for Boots. Negative Coggins Required. Save the Dates! March 10 ***CANCELED DUE TO RAIN April 28 May 12 June 16 June 30 – Rain Date August 11 September 15 September 29 October 13 – Rain Date March, April, and May Play Days will be day times. Gate open at 9am Barrel Exhibitions 10am –12 pm Pole Exhibitions 12:30- 1:30pm Play Day Start 2pm June, Aug, and September Play Days will be evening starts. Gate open at 3pm Barrel Exhibitions 4-5:30 pm Pole Exhibitions 5:45 – 6:30 Play Day Starts at 7pm 2012 Age Groups: Leadline: All ages, must have assistance. 8 & under 9-12 13-15 16-19 20-40 41 & over ** Ribbons awarded at each playday.
